You may know her simply as the tough-as-nails trainer from TV's The Biggest Loser, but Jillian Michaels wears many different hats: She's a fitness expert, life coach, author, radio host, blogger, and creator of DVDs, video games, and even a line of apparel.  Jillian Michaels is one of the leading health and wellness experts in the country.

Perhaps considered one of the most demanding people on television for her role as trainer and life coach on the NBC hit series The Biggest Loser, Michaels has created a brand name for herself. Every week she motivates nearly 15 million TV viewers, approximately 2 million subscribers to her Web site and daily e-mail newsletter, and many more radio listeners.

As a motivator and role model, Jillian has a unique connection with her audience that stems from her own personal journey toward wellness. Before she was a huge TV success, Jillian struggled with her own weight. She was determined to reach her goals — and through dedication and hard work, she did.

She'll share her inspiriing story of how to overcome challenges to reach your goals and live the life you want.

From Rags to Riches to Rags to Riches…

Twenty years ago, Kim Snider, just a few years out of college, went to work for a small computer supplies wholesaler as a clerk in the purchasing department. At the time, they were doing about $36 million a year in sales.

Over time, she rose up through the ranks, ultimately reaching the level of senior management. With each promotion came additional responsibilities and pay. Some of that pay came in the form of stock options.

In January 1995 the company went public.

By then, they were closing in on $500 million a year in sales and would soon reach a billion. At the moment her employer’s ticker symbol crossed the tape for the very first time, Kim suddenly had more money than most people dream of having even after a lifetime of work. She was 31 years old.

She then did the thing that seemed most reasonable; she turned it all over to a broker at a big-name brokerage firm.

Less than two years later, she was dead broke.

She vowed that she would NEVER, EVER again blindly depend on someone else to take care of her money. Kim became focused on one thing, winning “The Great Game of Money.”

TODAY, Kim Snider has taught thousands of people how to be the Family CFO. As the Founder and CEO of Snider Advisors and the creator of the Snider Investment Method®, she is widely respected as a leading expert in strategies for managing economic uncertainty.

Founded in 2002, Kim’s firm was honored as one of the fastest-growing, privately held companies in the Dallas/Fort Worth area by the Caruth Institute for Entrepreneurship at SMU’s Cox School of Business. In 2008 and 2009, Snider Advisors was named to the Inc 5000 list of fastest-growing, privately held companies in America. Also in 2009, Snider Advisors was awarded the Five Star: Best in Client Satisfaction for Wealth Managers by Crescendo Research and Texas Monthly Magazine.

Kim is the host of Financial Success Coaching with Kim Snider on KRLD NewsRadio 1080, a CBS affiliate in Dallas/Ft. Worth - the most listened to financial show in the DFW market. She is also the author of “How to Be the Family CFO: Four Simple Steps to Put Your Financial House in Order.”

Kim has been featured in the PBS Special, Finding the Rich Woman in You with Kim Kiyosaki, as well as the Emmy nominated series, Pay It Off, with Dave Ramsey and Suze Orman. She has been quoted on various subjects related to personal finance and investing in over 80 daily newspapers and has been interviewed on numerous radio shows. The World Wide Web is riddled with her quotes, including such places as SmartMoney.com, The Motley Fool, Conde Nast Portfolio, CNBC.com and TheStreet.com.

On a more personal note, Kim’s greatest passion is playing polo, which she does competitively. She is a graduate of the University of Colorado at Boulder. She lives in Flower Mound, Texas with her husband Jim and her German Shepherds, Dritte and Lexi.
